I've had many titles over the years: hairstylist. boozeslinger. foodserver. roadie. drummer. advisor. friend. sister. daughter. aunt.

mother of four (legged creatures).

art historian. graphic designer. photographer. writer. traveler. homeowner.

smoker. joker. drinker. thinker.

Many of these still apply but for the last several years my favorite has been metalsmith. I don't see that changing any time soon.

I have pieced together my metals education over the last several years at the Penland School of Crafts, Pocosin Arts, the NC State Crafts Center and the Pullen Arts Center in Raleigh, NC. I feel incredibly fortunate to have these opportunities so close to home and will never consider my education complete.
